RAINDROPS NIGHTCLUB

Grande Ronde, Oregon

In a fast track design process, LCA worked closely with the Spirit Mountain Development Team to transform a preteen and adolescent arcade into a dynamic, first class night club, Raindrops. Working directly with the general contractor, LCA provided design services and construction administration to complete the project on time under a very aggressive schedule and on a tight budget.

HILTON HOTEL

Portland, Oregon

LCA with IDEA transformed the Portland Hilton inside and out. LCA provided architectural design, structural, electrical and plumbing engineering services. Upgrades included entries, meeting rooms, ballrooms, and the health club and seismic improvements to the parking garage and exhibit hall. Interior design improvements included guest rooms and bathrooms, elevator lobbies and meeting rooms.

DOUBLETREE HOTEL

Honolulu, Hawaii

LCA is engaged in an ongoing whole hotel remodel for the Doubletree Alana property in Honolulu. The firm is project managing a multi-phase renovation which encompasses a complete main lobby remodel, and upgrades and interior refreshing of guest rooms, model rooms, ADA compliant features, and meeting spaces. LCA worked with the client to repurpose underutilized space into more usable areas, adapting storage rooms and a sundries shop into a state of the art business center.

DOUBLETREE HOTEL

Portland, Oregon

LCA coordinated a major renovation of the Doubletree's Lloyd Center property along with local interior design firm IDEA. The hotel needed a major refresh of its 1970s interior, and needed to communicate its commitment to sustainability through energy efficiency measures, and hard and soft goods sourcing. LCA designed a dramatic "water wall" feature in the lobby that adds to the ambiance of the guest experience, but uses recycled water to keep costs low.

SeaTac International Airport

LCA managed this refresh of the Hilton property at the SeaTac Airport in collaboration with interior design firm IDEA. The hotel needed to continue to add value to the property through upgrades in its public areas and amenities for guests. The work included remodel construction of the property's guest rooms, ADA Compliant bathrooms, public areas, and corridors.

SALON NYLA

Portland, Oregon

The owner envisioned a salon, spa, gift shop and gallery with a contemporary feel. The foremost challenge was to create a modern and stylish space complementing the elegant features of the historic Multnomah Hotel location. LCA introduced a series of gently curved arches spanning the styling areas that create a sense of intimacy while controlling noise and concealing mechanical systems. Defined areas for shampoo, spa treatments and nails are housed in small, intimate spaces with flattering lighting. Finally, a palette of natural wood, colored concrete and carefully selected paint colors creates a calming and luxurious salon and spa escape experience.

NIKE CONFERENCE CENTER

Beaverton, Oregon

LCA designed this 12,000 square foot conference center to express Nike's bold brand and to look perpetually fresh and new. The process involved listening closely to the needs of various groups who would use the facility, then creating a flexible plan centered around a 400-seat theater surrounded by multi-divisible exhibit and conference rooms. Both areas are equipped with centrally controlled, theater quality lighting grid, video and sound systems. A dramatic curved wall reflects Nike's dynamic "Swoosh". This "great wall" serves as a gallery featuring Nike athletes wearing the brand's latest looks as well as an information center and telephone/data booths.
